Comfortable and fits true-to-size - no-nonsense and not designed for 'flash' - these boots are great for duty - good shock absorption, easy to shine, good traction on a variety of surfaces - including wet surfaces, good support and all-over; a really comfortable and solid duty boot.

I've tried several different boots from several manufacturers and this is the first boot I've had that weighs and feels like a sneaker. I wouldn't use them for construction or other heavy duty use, but for light and medium duty use, these do the trick. They don't squeak when walking on tile, don't leave black streaks on linoleum floors, and are very comfortable to wear. Because they are black and somewhat polishable, they are compatable with most uniforms. You can walk a foot job all day in these and be comfortable. For people that don't like heavy boots, these are great; they are the lightest work shoes I've ever owned. The only downside is that they are not waterproof, but they don't claim to be either and that also may be why they breathe so well. These would be good for police, security, valets, etc that are on their feet often and run occasionally but aren't hiking through a jungle or working on a construction site. I'm ordering my third pair today. Regarding durability, my previous pairs have lasted longer than sneakers but not as long as other heavy duty boots I've owned. However, the extremely light weight and comfort are a worthwhile tradeoff for the reduced lifespan, especially for a boot that's priced less than a decent sneaker anyway.

I bought this boots primary for 8h winter rogaining throgh swamps. After execution and drying they looks like new altrough they are not waterproof nor ice-cold-swamp proof, but my feets don't care, they are happy.
